MASSIVE ATTACK SLATED FOR THE VERVE TOUR Massive Attack are in the coveted spot of opening up for the Verve on their long- awaited extensive North American tour. The tour begins on July 28 in Des Plaines, Illinois at the Rosemont Horizon. The average venue capacity is at 10,000. The tour will last for three weeks ending at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington on Aug. 17. Confirmed Verve/Massive Attack dates: July 28, Des Plaines, Illinois, Rosemont Horizon July 29, Auburn Hills, Michigan, The Palace July 31, Hamilton, Ontario, Copps Coliseum Aug. 1, Montreal, Quebec, Molson Centre Aug. 3, Lowell, Virginia, Paul E. Tsongas Arena Aug. 5, New York, New York, Madison Square Garden Aug. 7, Atlanta, Alexander Mem. Its Lowell, Massachusetts, not Virginia. I went to school in the area, and I would know if we were in Virginia or Massachusetts. :-)
