Sounds like what you really need are the CDS releases from Lifeforms: "Cascade" and "Lifeforms". Both are killers, and nice and long. Practically mini-albums. Same goes for the Papua New Guinea 38-min CD, with mixes by Anrew Weatherall etc. I *

The Lifeforms & Cascade EPs are both good suggestions, if you can find them. Amorphous Androgenous - Tales of Ephidrena is also similar to Lifeforms. ISDN is my favorite, it's closer to Dead Cities, as is the Far Out Son of Long single. Accelerator is older, more techno/beat oriented than the others, with a really murky sound (poor equipment, I'd guess), but it does have Papua New Guinea. The album's a classic, but it harkens to a different era. Che
