after hearing tracks by panacea on both electric ladyland iv and einsturzende neubauten remixes I am intriguted. I suspect everyone else has caught on as I've heard the name around, but I don't see too much talk on the list.. any thoughts/recommendations? I picked up the einsturzende neubauten remixes cd recently, and the first few listens are pleasing.. remixes by: jon spencer, barry adamson, panasonic, soul wax, alec empire, darkus, panacea, kreidler, thomas fehlman and gudrun gut, techno animal. pretty alright, I must say. electric ladyland 4 is good too, but that goes without saying.

definately get Low Profile Darkness, but Panacea, its really good :) although at times a little repetitive, its nice and crunchy, dark, and sort of raw soudning etc. i usually dont like junglish type stuff(ive been told this is "tech step" whatever that is), but i do like Alec Empire alot, and hence i like this stuff, its only very slightly similar to AE though. also, ive heard that Ed Rush is a good person to check out if you like Panacea.... also, there is a Position Chrome cd comp by that name... I have it, i don't like the stuff on there as much as LPD yet, but i have to listen to it more... if you really get into this stuff/style, and want it ill trade it to ya, or anyone else out there that wants it... get LPD though (warning, the pics inside are so cheesy and lame they make you cringe with embarassment), its priced as a domestic etc. andy ajsolomon@wesleyan.edu On Tue, 10 Mar 1998, Brett McCormick wrote:

or pick up the last chaos and julia set ep, which takes a dump on anything these people have done. anyone read the panacea interview in wire? <grin> 'i'm so full of hate' - hate wouldn't be the word i would use <waves>
