My comments, and I have to apologize to many because it has happened to me on several occasions, the one for Ernie, the message for Brock........the sharp change is really what got me, but hey, now I just copy the persons name, and then delete the list name.......but again, the change is so drastic, on a couple of times I forgot.......My fault........ and since I have your attention, give me a Discography of CIM's music.....(thats out on CD) Hk! -----Original Message----- From: Cesium5Hz@aol.com [mailto:Cesium5Hz@aol.com] Sent: Wednesday, March 08, 2000 7:43 PM To: idm@hyperreal.org Subject: Re: (idm) auto reply woes. It has definitely changed beyond the standard, which was previous. 313 and Ambient still have the previous reply function. Why the sudden change for idm. Who on this list actually likes this change? I believe there is only one CiM track on CD, and that is the track that is featured on the Big Chill : Enchanted Gardens mixed CD. That track being Warm Air (thats wrong I think?) which is taken from the CiM : Series 1 12" on Headspace recordings (www.headspacerecordings.co.uk) for those that are not vinyly challenged there are these gems available: Sean Deason/CiM : Reversal : (HS-002) Headspace Recordings CiM : Series 1 12" : (HS-004) Headspace Recordings CiM : Series 2 12" : (HS-009) Headspace Recordings CiM : Service Pack 12" : (5DSR/CIM1) Delsin CiM : Warm Data 12" : (foc450) Focus (released soon) CiM also has tracks on these: Various : Preludes & Nocturnes 12" : (HS-001) Headspace Recordings Various : Enchanted Garden 2xCD: (FACTOR2) Big Chill Various : Focus Sampler 12" : (foc348) Focus --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

AFAIK, none of CiM's music is out on CD. The material on Headspace, Delsin, and Focus is only out on vinyl. Kelley: Why don't you buy a record player? You don't have to go out and buy a Technics 1200, just go to the local pawn shop and get a cheap record player for $20 or so. There's lots of great music that *is not* available on CD that you're missing out on because you don't have a vinyl-player. With so many people CD-obsessed, record players are *very* easy to find these days. Andrew Duke Kelley Hackett wrote:

I'm with Mr. Duke. There's no real reason not to have a TT. For IDM it's almost essential. I found a sony piece of shit at a swap fest for $5. No plastic top, but it works fine. Got a stanton 500AL needle and it's lasted me a few years. I'll probably replace it one of these days once I enter working society.
