Ever since I read this I've been trying to recall what this was, and
i finally got around to it...
www.liquidaudio.com
works something like realaudio, as you have a player, but you can
actually burn the tracks to a cd... i used it a few times, thinking
it sounded very nice, but it loses its appeal when you go to burn a
cd and it informs you that no cd-r device is present.... now that i
have a cd-r, it loses its appeal because i don't recall there being
anything of interest that i'd actually burn a cd of... but, the point
being is that this does exist (no idea how well it works... perhaps
i'll try just to see... burn a whole cd of bon jovi or something and
give it to my brother for xmas) and is available... i think it'd be
*great* if a idm label would try this out... mailorder, same day
delivery... the server software might be a bit too $$$ for a small
label though...
