Not chillout album of the year then? :-) Seriously though, does/should this category exist anymore? I had trouble finding something to go in it, so I just put that excellent Strata-2-East Jazz compilation in there. Isn't most of what is discussed on here is chillout in some sense, because people normally listen to it at home not in a club? Plus there's not been many straight 'ambient' records out this year (and praise the Lord for that, I say!) so it makes it even harder... Maybe it's time for a new category (although having said that I can see how it might be useful to newcomers/newbuyers of IDM).
