The administrator of this list is Aran Parillo aka DJ Teep, who has been doing it since Alan 'Fluid' Parry flaked out on the job ... I got some e-mail from him the other day, and he can't keep up with reading the list, what with the 30 or 40 admin messages daily, and the rest of his 'real life.' If anyone else is interesting in being admin, drop him a line. The first qualification for the job is finding his e-mail address without me giving it to you ;-) If I was admin I would be likely to employ some Jedi list admin tricks whereby stupid threads just mysteriously die, and egregious abuses would be punished with permanent banishment to the outer darkness. And I'd cackle with glee as I did it. And no, I don't want the job. kent williams -- kent@avalon.net --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Totally in agreement. This sounds a bit more like 313. Is there a Jedi on board there? Several people with nothing to add but list insults and general abuses have been relegated to the netherworlds. Hey maybe enen the signals will start to surface even more from the noise. What a concept. On the music tip, I have really been impressed by releases on the labels United States of Mars, Force Tracks, Raum Musik and Stir 15. Lookout for SCSI 9, Dub Taylor, Marvin Dash, System 360, Glance. Those who enjoy their lo-fi minimalist grooves in the vein of Playhouse and Perlon should definitely check these out.
