WRONG! Get some rubber cement thinner from an art supply store and keep it under your sink with all your other cleaners. One drop and the goo is dissolved into thin air. One $8 bottle will last you a decade and is useful for all kinds of sticky-solvent-removal needs. Brand name Bestine is the most popular. Smells great too.
