yep

nope. Just because it sounds like some one worked hard on something, doesn't mean they're trying to make something serious. Does it?

sure

nope. Commericials do it all the time. There are many commericals out there that can't be and shouldn't be take seriously. But they stick in your head. Example: the latest leg of interconnecting levi's commerials. Aren't music videos basically nothing more than artsy television advertisements desgined to mystify the viewer, place artists in godlike positions, and promote records?

cause he's wasting warp's money. No skin of his back.

Sure why not?

Well, I'm certainly not an almighty super-elite IDM subscriber, but I did have a chance to interview him. And after talking to the guy, I'm still under the impression that he thinks this is all one big joke. Have you read the inlay card? The way the lyrics are printed out? You've got to find that funny.

Actually, I kind of like it too. In funny kind of way. But then again, I still own "Only for the Headstrong", and I listen to it too... maybe I've got problems.

I ask the same question myself sometimes....

A commercial is a commercial. You cannot say "well I take this one seriously, and I take that one as a joke." it's serious whether or not it's a joke or not.. they're trying to sell something. The new Levi's commercials are brilliant. and how they aren't serious is beyond me, coz I don't think it's funny. Instead of talking about whether the new levi's commercials are serious or not, we should be talking about how they used a jungle track in the first one, with the guy dj'ing. __ __\ \ / /_\ \ \_____/ www.freq-div.home.ml.org

Funny you should mention that, the DJ in the commercial was featured in a Details magazine a few months ago I think he's from atlanta, Georgia if memory serves.....and commercials ARE funny.I can't believe they actually think they manipulate us into buying jeans because they flash us a little jungle music...it's so sad. spaul BTW the big Autechre "black album' mystery has been solved, the guy at future sounds skrewed up and I got mailed AIR LIQUIDE "BLACK"..he thought it was Autechre......sigh. np:Ninja Cuts:flexistentialism

His name is ed and he lives in LA now...I ran into him at a local jungle club a month ago. I've only seen his name on one flyer so far and didn't get to check him out. peace, brock. np: panacea 'low profile darkness' (full fucking on!)
