after all of these millions of idm-album purchases, i still haven't gotten around to getting analogue bubblebath 1. is it worth it? is it similar to i care..? i have heard that it is simpler, more dance/acid oriented... $8 on vinyl, $11 on cd.. but i would rather have the cd of this album.. hmm .... grav

Well I'd say that if you want analogue bubblebath you may just want to get Aphex Twin's Classics instead as Isopropanol (on classics) is a slightly longer version of Isopropophlex, and analogue bubblebath is on there too. Plus it has a number of other nice tracks and probably doesn't cost much more (13 tracks on classics vs 4 on analogue bubblebath). The style is a bit more raw sounding imo, i happen to like i care better but the old stuff is still great.
