Heh, well, i'm sick of people whining about people writing off-topic. If enough people want to discuss something such as the web-page, it seems as though you are in the minority on what should and shouldn't be dicussed here. Instead, why don't you discard the sarcasm, discard off-topic emails that don't interest you, and post something that DOES interest you instead of bitching about it? You know, if you look at the subject you can, in less than a second know what an email is aoubt and, press delete and not even have to read certain emails. Its easy. Try it. Anyways, the real reason for this post being: Squarepusher - Hard Normal Daddy: i know TJ plays the bass(and quite well, at that), but does anyone know if there is any other "live" instrumentation on this album? I thought i heard a very processed guitar in there too, but that might have been a synth sound...anyone? for your info: burroughs is credited with creating some of the first tape loops and experiments ever, and also the use of sampling, back in london in the middle 60s. listen to 'Breakthrough in Grey Room'. or listen to 'Spare Ass Annie' done with Disposeable heroes of Hiphoprisy. And you obviously weren't looking too hard on Hyperreal: http://www.hyperreal.org/wsb/ where the hell would dickie james be without a little foreground being laid out? riddle me that, batman. -z
