Does anyone know what the Derek Bailey album "Guitars, Drum and bass" is like with Ninj (who did stuff on Laswell's Oscillations project)? What else is good out there? The Omni Trio is gorgeous but possibly a little too smooth for my liking... Got Ruby's "Stroking the full length" - ace stuff, nice Peshay remix and generally gorgeous, she can do no wrong, as Pigface once said. rA - who is off to get the new Biosphere, its been a long three years.

"Guitar, drums 'n' bass" is interesting more for Derek Bailey's guitar playing (if you like that) than for the jungle beats. Musically, it is completely without any melodies, just pure breakbeats and bass samples, over which Derek lays his improvisations. Karl-Michael.
