Not totally IDM, but DJ Hive (? I think that's who it was) sampled a Bad Brains track a couple of years ago. Atari Teenage Riot (or Alec Empire) sampled Bad Brains. Three Wheels Out (side project of the main dude from Skylab) sampled punk progenitors the Stooges on a 12" put out a few years ago by Pussyfoot (I think). Renegade Soundwave sampled the Clash's "White Riot" on "The Phantom." That's all for now. Well, I guess technically a few of my tracks have punk samples. I've taken guitar riffs and vocal samples from a few bands, especially vocal samples form Propagandhi. Hey! Someone else that knows the Locust (not "Locust," but "the Locust" -- the sci-fi grind band from San Diego with the big hair, not that wuss from Europe or whatever ;) )... Actually that CD is on GSL, but I'll let it slide this time. The Locust are coming out with a whole 12" of remixes.
