The best players are Vamp 1.0.2 and MacAmp d20. There are 2 mac amps, one has no gui. Both are good but one has a gui. AS for making mp3's I use SOundEDit 16, you then need to download the shockwave essentials for SoundEdit. Then export your aiffs as SHockwave audio.
