Find any interview with Kirk DeGiorgio (sp?) and you'll find the man bowing to
Herbie's shrine. The one in Muzik a few months ago had details of his
fascination with jazz and how he feels people like Hancock should be the ones
hailed as IDM heroes.
Personally I think another tune aside from Rockit reveals Herbie's connection
to IDM - it's the one Kirk picked for his Checkone comp: "Nobu" from Hancock's
Japanese semi-live LP "Dedication". Constantly shifting beats and melodies
intertwined - it's like a really good Black Dog track.

When 'Clerks' happened, I thought it would be a good idea to insure further
work by maintaining that it was the first part of a trilogy. It seemed to work
for George Lucas. // Kevin Smith
