this, just posted on the plur channel (SoCal Raves), concrete recording artists DEATH IN VEGAS & DUBPISTOLS friday april 4th w/ DJ's Jason Bently, the Budbrothers, Gary Richards TROUBADOR 9081 Santa Monica Blvd 8pm - 2am $10 cover Which reminds me, what happened to that Death In Vegas LP? It must have come out by now, but I've never seen it and neither has anyone else I've talked to around these parts. word to the mothership, brockorama np: rats in my closet, they keep me up at night, how about you?

It's called "Dead Elvis" and it's on Concrete. You can special order it on concrete's web site. I don't know what it is off the top of my head, but check out Jason Bentley's page at: www.kcrw.org (you have to go into the music pages, then check out Metropolis, Jason's show) It has a lot of interesting links for IDMers. Including the Concrete site, where I believe you can order Death In Vegas stuff. For people of Southern California, Daft PUnk are guest DJs on "Morning Becomes Eclectic" KCRW 89.9 at 11:00 am. Daft PUnk will also be spinning at BOSSONOVA (2110 Main Street, Santa Monica) tomorrow (Thursday, May 3) from 12:00 am - 2:00 am. This is completely unrelated, but does anyone have the name of the track by Apollo 440 that samples a lot of Van Halen guitars? Interesting in the least.. -d-
