Hi Seofon,

It was the best! Fuck the sixties! It was alive, happening, and ours.

gotta agree, it looks like the case.
quoted 3 lines I make "music", and I'd like people to hear it and I'd like> I make "music", and I'd like people to hear it and I'd like > to make a living at it. But do I want to become the next > Moby? Fuck that.
thats the choice every artist has to face. depends on how deep into the beast you want to go. I know several people who are accomplished buskers. They don't fuck with the industry at all, and can still earn a living from doing what they enjoy most. You could also sell your own cassettes by mail order. BUT the minute you sign a "recording contract" with a major label they *are* looking at turning you into "the next moby" or similar. They're businesses, not artistic co-ops. Which is a shame, I agree.
quoted 1 line I mean, why do you do music, Ken? For the money?> I mean, why do you do music, Ken? For the money?
grin, hardly. 1. it's an emotional expression mechanism. 2. satisfaction from people who've listened and enjoyed. 3. they look good on the racks. Music is the the universal language of Babylon!
