That's probably because you don't have realaudio. My problem is that I have an Amiga.... I tried checking the site out on another PC, but the modem was only 19,200 and all I got was a broadcast chopped to bits. It was probably worse than not hearing it at all, because I loved what I heard :) It would be great for a lot of people if you could make the broadcast downloadable.... this way more people will hear it. I listened to it and thought it was amazing, but I'd really like to be able to have my friends who are really into Autechre be able to hear it also. I tried on both Netscape 2.01 and 2.02 to go to the "secret" pnm://..... address listed in the .ram file, but Netscape gave me nothing. I REALLY want to be able to download the .ra file *not* just the .ram file. nice to see other ppl here have an amiga (besides some ppl I know already ;) it sucks though because Amiga is Unreal Audio, which is exactly like Realaudio, with the small bit exception that would be *it's not compatible with realaudio* seems pretty stupid to me, ah well..

yeah.. I have an amiga. I've made a few IDM-type modules on it which i might put up on my site at some point. This is another thing I'd be interested in setting up....a page for IDM music modules written on amiga or PC by anyone who wants to contribute/ppl on this list etc that have written some. I wonder, is this a good idea? -- Ben Coffer Hybrid Productions http://www.hybridgame.demon.co.uk/

I don't know about people on this list, but all the aminet sites have a rather extensive collection of mods.... (wonder if any of them were produced by Ken Downey?) Check it out at: http://ftp.aminet.org/aminet/ Or: http://ftp.netnet.net/aminet/ There are other sites available, but those two are the fastest stateside :) onnow: Tranquility Bass "Let the Freak Flag Fly" (Astralwerks) Lame Thread Prevention in Effect: Aaron Michelson --------------------------------------------------------------------- aw-teck'r (autechre) "Everything you Know is Wrong" For reviews, interviews, art & trash http://www.on-it.net/~aaron/ aaron@defiant.on-it.net

Um, yeah being an amiga owner, I reckon I've heard of aminet :) src.doc.ic.ac.uk being the fastest for me, personally. As far as I know, there aren't any specific IDM modules or IDM categories on aminet. But....prove me wrong. -- Ben Coffer Hybrid Productions http://www.hybridgame.demon.co.uk/

I think you could class some of the group MONO's mod releases as IDM-ish .. there are a sizeable chunk of them in mods/misc I think ... .: WD :.

Me and my friend have also made some IDM'ish (demo) modules on Amiga. If you'd like to hear them, check http://www.sci.fi/~yolk/music.html The ones on that page all are pretty old. -- .Mikko
