I don't know where you can get it, but I'll tell you something: I remember
the guys in front of me in the line up (Vancouver International Film Fest)
mentioning that they'd have to sit through the whole thing just to hear
this one song, and joking about going down to the front of the theatre for
four or five minutes to dance at the end.

Absolutely. The hairs on the back of my neck were tingling in
anticipation. And at that first hard crunch of the logo sound effects,
yeah, it was great.

I wish there were more live electronic shows out here. There is a live
night at one club, but that usually is less interesting techno played
almost exclusively by sequencers, with an occasional human manning such
instruments as "mixer" or "filter cutoff/resonance knobs". Occasionally
they'll have some decent acts, such as Speedy J or maybe decent local
stuff, but those shows are quite sparse. I know bitching about it here
will do nothing, and maybe it's better than I state, but the guys that
played last time were pretty bad (for me anyways, there seemed to be
people dancing when I left), and maybe my /memories/ are skewed because of
them. Send me an Autechre, an AFX, a FSOL, a u-ziq, a HIA, a Tetsu Inoue,
a Black Dog, an Air Liquide, and a Wagon Christ to go please. Or do I have
to come and get them?
