There is a section on Kraftwerk in David Toop's book, _Ocean of Sound_,
which delves a little too much into the author's experiences with tribal
music (and Sun Ra) for my taste, but it has a real tasty interview with
Ralf Florian (I think that's his name) of Kraftwerk, as well as other
electronic musicians such as Paradinas and James. (The RDJ interview
involves his BS discussion about making SAWII without any sleep; kind of
outdates the book a bit -- shame, really).
There is also a Kraftwerk page from Sweden which has pictures,
discographies, and interviews with K-staff. I don't know the URL offhand,
but there is a link to the page from the music section of my homepage

Terre Thaemlitz discusses some sociopolitical aspects of Kraftwerk in his
homepage. Should be under the "Roboter Rubato" liner notes of his page.
