Tim Zeigler: "Has the Emissions label failed us yet?" Nope. I've yet to be disappointed with anything on the label yet. I just picked up the new 12" TLS vs Being, and it's better than I expected. "Thurxton Races" is the best track. We have both Blue CD's, Conemelt, TLS, David Being, David Harrow (Technova), the great Emissions comps and more. The Fresh Emissions 2CD comp is easily surpasses Threads, It's All Becoming Clear, Blech, and other compilations. How many Rephlex releases have you listened to all the way through in one listening? Geez. Where can I get this? I've been trying through my local source but no luck. Any mailorder places in the US have this? I've been very interested in hearing this. The Emissions label releases are usually very high quality but I didn't care for the Blue - Tail Feather ep too much. Felt it was below their excellent standard set by the albums.

How's the second Technova album? Have the first one which is pretty good. PS. I also need Being-Monthly transmission/September 12". Can anyone Help? Will buy or trade for it and pay a decent price. :) Thanks.

Can't really agree with you on this one. TLS vs. being sound more being than TLS and then it didn't really sound like the being I'm used to hearing. sounded more chunky than smooth... However I have to say yes! to emissions not failing us. hopefully the label will survive longer than Sabrettes or Sabres of Paradise and continue to put out more weirdness we all can enjoy. robert feugate rfeugate@hawaii.edu / grizzla@lava.net
