IT'S THAT LED ZEP BEAT AGAIN. Oh, sorry.
You can find "Beats and Pieces" on the Coldcut full-length "What's that
Noise?", with groovy cover art, also found imprinted on the CD itself.
This CD also features an unrecognizable cut by Lisa Stansfield ("My
Telephone") and a recognizable cut by Lisa Stansfield ("People Hold On",
which is quite Yazzful). Varoius other random guest vocalists (Mark E.
Moore, many others, like that reggae guy I can't remember, where's my
coffee?).
This is the hard-funk samplemania noize side of Coldcut.
For the jazzy-melodic-funk of Coldcut, check out "Philosophy", which
contains the lush "Autumn Leaves", "Chocolate Box", etc. etc.
Congrats to the Coldcats!
