I was flipping through a Japanese new-release catalog, and saw: Flare (Ken Ishii): Regrip Sublime SBLCD-5012 Does anyone have any more info on this? Is it maybe a remix album based on his last Flare LP, "Grip"? If so, who are the remixers? I'm hoping that maybe Derrick May might put in a mix... since he is currently working with Ishii, supposedly. On now:: Cylob: Foid Non-IDM:: If anyone's interested, there's also a new Japan-only Lush comp out, collecting b-sides from the Lovelife singles. Actually, Lush does have tenuous IDM connection, since Spooky once remixed them (or was it the Drum Club?). Dunno about Drum Club, but there's a Spooky mix of one of their singles. Used to play it on my fairly IDM-ish radio show, if that gives any indications. bill/dj marathon
