C'mon! People plague me for old stuff, so I put out a few for the trainspotters. Don't bite my head off again. Chimera may not be as strong as our recent material but it's solid enough and I'd rather buy it in favour of 2/3rd's of the music I see worshipped in the media. I must say that the vinyl is my preference - "Future..." can really work when played out. On another note, after disastrous pressing probs, we're getting ready to drop Bochum Welt's album (A1+), followed by Leo at last, Cylob's current number 1, (which everbody who's heart isn't deep in it will surely hate) and then some Vulva and dmx Krew. Just so you know... Also, does anybody else think that the rate of idm volumes is getting a tad too much? And does anyone fancy sending a review of "Sunset" or "Loops..." as I thought these releases wip everything else at the moment (nobody else agree?)

Still waiting for the Cylob to show up. Iowa is a long way from Cornwall apparently, though we've got plenty of Corn. --------------------------------------------------------------------- "I read Keyboard, but it's like staring at a book with pictures of simple looking but expensive machines." -- Michael Lazarev NEW CD Comp Electronic Music Project http://soli.inav.net/~kent/emp.html Kent Williams kent@inav.net CADSI 2651 Crosspark Road Coralville IA 52241 (319) 338 6053 (home) (319) 626 6700 x 219 (work) (319) 626 3489 (fax)

Rephlex, R >And does anyone fancy sending a review of "Sunset" or "Loops..." R >as I thought these releases whip everything else at the moment I agree.. The whole record (Sunset) is disarmingly low-key, and with everyone's brains addled by breakbeats over the past few months, something simple (?) like this could take a while to absorb.. There aren't any highpoints, just consistently good music.. 'Instant Shrink' sounds like the kind of track Tomita *could* have made. But for me 'Kobal' is still his best track. Am I right in thinking Sunset contains the first artist photo on any Rephlex record? Chris Jeffs, what a bloody egomaniac, eh? ;) Cheers, SjaY. *Fido* 2:250/151 *E-Mail* Geotrax@jukjoint.warp.co.uk ...
