After falling in love with the clockwork orange theme, i dredged out my old dark side of the moog three and gave it a good listen... WOW! The moog synthi has such incredible presence... Anyway, the point: please feel free to recommmend to me some of your favorite moog albums, and/or offer comments on DSOTM 1, 2, and 4. I must have more...

Well there's obviously Wendy Carlos's revolutionary album "Switched-On Bach" which is a great history lesson for one of the true roots of electronic music. A lot of albums came out in the late sixties and early seventies that featured "a moog." After synthesizers from other manufacturers gradually caught on, records referred to as "moog" albums began to be called "synthesizer" albums. Recently, however, the word "moog" has become trendy yet again, so I'm positive you'll hear more references to them in the future. Case in point, check out Octagon Man's remix of "Friends of P" by the Rentals.
