* anyone know where any good reviews are posted for Air Liquide 'Red' and Bukem's 'Logical Progression'? * I've never seen it mentioned on this list, but this has been one of my fave discs for three months now: dj Takemura 'Child's View (Remix), with mixes by Wagon Christ, Coldcut, and Aphex Twin and others. It RULES, dudes! * The same rockin' tune is on both the 'Theory of Evolution' and 'Logical Progression': it has Link and Chameleon in the title/artist spot. I think it's a typo from Bukem. Anyway, it's the Middleton\pritchard crew, I guess, and it's amazing, and I want more. Is there a single? An album? * And while I'm on the Global Communication thang, I really like Remotion for its intelligence, warm tones, and thumpin' bass. It's my favorite chill-out album (more than Orbvs Terrarvm or SAW2) but I find the 76:14 album falls a little flat for me. Any recommendations? * Wish I could think of something to start an inanely flamin' thread, but I can't, so I'll just say thanks in advance for all the lovely data. -- kevin babies@usa.pipeline.com

Reviewed this a while back. I had the opposite reaction - the remixes were pretty flat so I traded it away - the tracks didn't have much of the remixers' stamp on them.

It's not a typo. The ToE version is "Amazon Amenity", and is the same version as the Artcore track. The one on Logical Progression credited to Chameleon is called "Links" and is very different, much more stripped down, less swooshy and lush. This was the version on the Good Looking 12", the b-side of which is also quite nice. Too bad Bukem didn't include Links on the Mixmag CD...
