I think I speak for many who are dismayed at the rapid takeover of the Internet by festering Windoze software. It seems that standards (like audio and video) are becoming more fragmented (and costly) rather than coming together. Has anyone seen any specs on the X consortium's NetNoise? Greg?

According to the assocaited web page, the beta for RealAudio 2.0 requires a 28.8 modem AND a PENTIUM processor (on the Windows platform, of course). Pretty high hardware requirements for such crappy sound, eh? Internet Wave requires only a 14.4 modem and a 486 I believe, and the sound is pretty fair. alt-F-X ++dr. z Music is the KEY!
