Just home from the record store, wax on the turntable... I saw a plain white sleeve, almost passed it up, noticed "Clear 4103" written on it. No artist name on the label, just "Don't fake the funk" on one side, "Don't waste the space" on the other. The catalog number and "JA" etched in. Boy, was I excited when I recognized the velveeta in my ears was a remix of "Megathonk" by Jake Slazenger, alias Mu-ziq. The mixes are good, tweaked out, funked up, ooh yeah. Anyway, the point of posting this is: Anyone else have it? Know anything about it? Are the mixes all by Paradinas? Are things like this released secretly all the time and I never knew? Am I missing out on remixes of "Roy Castle", f'rinstance? I've just started buying vinyl again. Also, could anyone recommend the absolutely best headphones and estimate the price? Thanks, I love you all,I really mean it, etc, etc. Kevin R. babies@usa.pipeline.com.

Here's the post I made last November ...

promo, but I read somewhere that Mike P. wasn't happy with the mixes on it, and the actual release will contain entirely different mixes ...

white label.

it. (Or maybe someone else has, and I look the fool.) Since then we've learned that it won't be released.
