To everyone who feels the need to post grandiose messages about how bad this list is and how they're leaving: if you didn't try to make it better with musical discussion, please don't complain. Also take into account your messages go out to around 1,000 people, and I'm guessing none of them are at all interested in any of these threads. For me, and I'm guessing I'm not alone, the sole purpose of this list is to hear about records to buy I wouldn't hear about otherwise. I don't pay attention to the off-topic stuff, and neither should anybody else. Until this list gets a firm moderation policy, the best way to protest things you aren't interested in reading is to delete them and move on. Now, to add some music discussion, I've seen many folks raving about the new Boulderdash CD, and I got the chance to check out the Real Audio on the site (and it was pretty excellent). But I'm wondering what mail order places in the US have this? I haven't seen it anywhere. This is probably a silly question as next week it will appear everywhere, but I'd like to know anyway. It's about the MUSIC people - artists, releases, labels all involving electronic music. If even just half the people on this list would post one legitimate comment or question about those things then this list would be deluged with an influx of positive information like it has not seen in some time. Remember - MUSIC and nothing but.

Just talked with bentcrayon.com and they said they have a shipment of them arriving in a week or so but in limited quantities so drop them a line asap to reserve your copy. -->-Lance--- lance@inaudible.com p.o. box 450715 westlake, ohio 44145 united states --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org

Well, considering that the only people that have been mentioning it are promo whores... uh, I mean "DJs and journalists" (snicker) like myself, I'm guessing that it may only be available as a promo at the moment. And I don't think RUC (the label) has had great distribution outside of Sweden in the past. Hopefully, word about this release will get back to folks like PJ and Bent Crayon, and they'll work on picking RUC stuff up for North American distro. In the meantime, I wrote a review of the Boulderdash album (and another RUC release from late 1999 by Spinform) and put it up on my website last night for anyone interested.
