Here's more stuff I recently purchased: - Beyond the Sun (Dance Arena Productions) this is an excellent compilation of techno, trance and acid. The twelve tracks flow so well together. A great mix of old (Wildplanet's - Electron(Eurosync mix) & Eon's - Spice (Juan Atkins mix) and new (Yennek's - serena x (Carl Craig mix) & Shiver's - Illogical). There is not a dud to be found. Highly recommended. - Bomb The Bass "Sandcastles EP" (stoned heights) Aside from the title track, this EP has some great mixes. The Kruder & Dorfmeister mix of Bug Powder Dust is phenomenal. The (vinyl only) Jedi Knights mix of Absorber is quite good too. The Chemical Brother's mix was ok but it previously released on the Bug Powder Dust remix EP pt 1. BTW Does anybody have a copy of Bug Powder Dust remix EP pt 2 they'd like to trade for? - Funki Procini "Ashabanapal Big Pink Inflatable" (Ninja Tune) This 8 track CD has five outstanding mixes of King Ashabanapal by Digidub, Dillinja & Plaid and three new tracks. This ep incorporates much of the great Ninja Tune sound: jazz-funk-jungle-dub. - Gescom "The Sounds of Machines Our Friends Used" (clear) Clearly the best of the Gescom EPs. Deliciously light techno. - Higher Intelligence Agency "Freefloater" (beyond) An excellent release of mellow techno dub. Much smoother than Colorform. Very good. - A Guy Called Gerald "Finley's Rainbow" (Juice Box) Breathtaking intelligent jungle from the matser Gerald Simpson. Included are two mind-blowing mixes from 4 Hero. A jungle gem. - Endemic Void "The Whole World EP" (Language) More excellent intelligent jungle from Tony Thorpe's Language label. If this is just a taste of things to come then we've got a lot to look forward to. Hot off the shelf... pt. 3 coming soon.
