All this discussion on Dr.T's KCS software and KCS Omega 2 software has got me very curious - now can somebody explain this in simple terms - 1. Who makes it. 2. Where is it available. 3. What does it do exactly. 4. Is it compatible with A. Mac B. Cubase 5. What is the exact name of this thing. 6. How much does it cost (U.S $) Thanks

For all this info and lots more on *many* different software sequencers, check out the December 94 issue of KEYBOARD, which has a special overview of music software of all kinds. Quick details on Dr. T's KCS Omega: Only for Atari ($99) and Commodore Amiga ($69). Seems it's called "KCS Omega II" for the Atari, and just "KCS" for the Amiga. Not directly compatible with sequencers by other companies except via Standard MIDI Files. I don't have it, but it sounds pretty cool for live techno.... requisite IDM-content question: Has anyone recently seen a copy of FSOL's _Cascade_ single on CD in a shop? I've been on the lookout for ages, and have never seen it anywhere. Any info appreciated.... Neil Hetrick nh6957@wcuvax1.wcu.edu
