The picture in "Future Music" that you mention with the 303 in it, would probably more likely be the 606 that Autechre own. I mean, the 303 and 606 look practically the same anyway. The closest sounding to a 303 Autechre have sounded would be Windwind from the Incanabula album. But I reckon that's probably the 202. my 2 cents worth piece Florian dachut@syds01.isc.gov.au

Just because you don't HEAR a 303 in any of Autchre's songs does nto mean they do not own and use one. In many cases (especially now when the 303 sound is becoming SO cliche) the 303 is used as a sequencer for other synths that have compatible cv\gate inputs. the 303 sound might be getting old, but the screwed up sequences it produces aren't.... -- Kennen Sie eine Merle?
