Eh. Did someone else miss the irony...? ;) ObIDM: got yesterday Aural Expansion's 'Surreal Sheep' (SSR/Crammed) in mail, with the kind assistance of Jouni, Mr. AE himself :) No time for review now (does anyone read my freak-outs anyway? ;), but suffice it to say that it was the finest piece of ambientish electronic listening music/IDM I have heard in ages, really soothing stuff. Black Dog/B12 fanatics, check it out. ERkki Tampere, pHinland trerra@uta.fi

Yep, I got this through Derek O. (moses@teleport.com) and have played it a several times in the few days that I've had it. That is rare for me to do, considering it means unplugging my mackie-mixer-output from the stereo to do it. This a great CD esp because it is not digestable in one mere listenning. Some tracks just keep evolving and changing gears before you can even get used to timbres. This is cool for me, since I am cursed with the 'spot the synth' tendency since I program. The Finnish programming I've heard is definitely my cup of tea: that + being a second generation Finn makes me want to go move my gear there... Oregon ain't so far.
