Somewhat IDM related... mostly curious: who or what is Fat Cat? It's mentioned in a lot of "thank-you"s in many releases, from Beau Hannant to others I can't recall right now. But I just keep seeing the name. Is this a record store? I remember seeing some blurb about it. But why does it get so many thanks? ...James

all as far as i know (after speaking with adam x a few months back), fat cat is a record store in england that carries an extremely wide selection of IDM related music. damian / dieselboy

Its a top London record store. Mark Broom (whose name has appeared in far too many of my mails recently) works there and the Fat Cat folks have helped other labels and helped compile some of the New Electronica comps. I wasn't aware of the fact that Fat Cat was on the Net, I'm sure I would have read about it. If they are I would certainly like the address myself to keep up with the bangin' choons of 'Laandaan' (that's London :)).
