Hi all: Just found this for $11.79 at Best Buy (I checked on a whim), and I have to say it's good. Really good - 79 minutes of blidded-out, scary dub. Most of the stuff is fairly slow-paced, but that's not necessarily bad. The Meat Beat Manifesto remix of "Silver Rain Fell" has got the funky hip-hop beat that MBM utilize so well, with haunting synth effects. When, oh when, will Jack Dangers release something new? I'd love to see something like this... Oh - the PCM mix of "Nightmare" (called "The End"). Since the disc has absolutely no info on it, who/what is PCM? This is rather fast-paced stuff, quite different from everything else. Any ideas? If you're stateside, pick it up - it's quite good. It's interesting to note that Dangers samples both Zoviet France and PGR for this remix. Of course, one of Meat Beat's greatest strengths has always been the diversity of their influences. However, my favorite is the Autechre mix. I'm not sure I'm as crazy about this disk as others seem to be, but I certainly prefer it to the last album.
