I should add to another reply the BUNKER on St Laurent (the street to GO) which specialize in hardcore and experimental. In fact this week DNA records will move to a new location just in front of BUNKER. It means the 3 major stores are located in the same block NORTH of Sherbrooke. The best days to grab CDS are on Friday and Saturday (New arrivals on F) For clubs check Harlida on Saturday evening (Techno Lab Team in action) and on whole Sunday (From 10 I think) It' House day. Harlida is on Ontarion corner of St Laurent, one block down from Sherbrooke. E-mail personnally for more when you'll be there.... ********************************************************************** Eric "Aleph6" Neurom-X Interactive Communication *********************************************************************

Your best place to grab some hot wax would be DNA in Les Cours Mont-Royal. It's in the back of Juan & Juanita. Also try the now-failing Dutchy's Record Cave on St-Laurent for some older albums and stuff. Finally, for some cutting edge club stuff, try Inbeat Records further up St-Laurent. For material with more soul, Chin Phat Records on Peel Street downtown is the place to go. As for place to groove, check out Angels on St-Laurent depending on the age group you wanna hang with. There, it goes from commercial to ambient chill. And of course, for after-hours fun, Playground on the corner of Sainte-Catherine and Amherst in the Village. It's a sort of hard-house style re: Sound Factory in NYC. This is on Fridays and Saturdays. And check around the record stores for fliers for upcoming raves and parties.
