It's definitely available on the CDS, as are the other three mixes.

Yes, it's on one of the Joyrex 12":s. Maybe one of our trainspotters could tell more? :) BTW, I guess there has been tens of cover versions of 'Pop Corn' - one of the latest on Finland's very own Nylon 66'ers'new album; among their Hammond organ/acid jazz/disco versions of 'Funky Town', 'Oxygene' (by Jean-Michel Jarre), 'Star Wars Cantina Theme' and 'Holiday In Cambodia'... ;) ERkki Tampere, Finland trerra@uta.fi

i'll trade my first-pressing vinyl 7" single of Hot Butter's "Popcorn" for either an 808 or a 303... no - i want BOTH!!

I guess it was a guy called Gershon Kingsley (sp?), ca. 1972. He worked on many early Moog synthesizer releases, mostly cheesy Moog covers from the hits of the day. Then he collaborated in the sixties with a Frechman called Perrey, as Kingsley-Perrey, and some of their stuff has been re-released on CD. If you need to know more, check the 'Incredibly Strange Music' books in the Re/Search publication series. Most hilarious stuff, IMO. And now back to our normal IDM trainspotting schedule... :)
