I just saw this one at a local record shop. It's got kind of a grey cover, which is weird, because I expected it to be amber. Go figure! Kathy, Mistress of Colors

the sky above the cliffs are a beautiful shade of amber! one thing some of us noticed was, are the cliffs real or a model? are they sand or snow? in anycase it's quite lovely. --,__ (mRay) z943159@corn.cso.niu.edu

Hey the cliffs are real and they are sandstone (if you look down the bottom of them you can see where they have be eroded away - on the reverse of the cover) And isn't amber sort of orangy, not blue? Maybe there's a tint of amber..... Hmmm...I don't know...bloody good music though! According to my dictionary here... Dover is a seaport in East Kent, in SE England. It's the point nearest the coast of France, with a population of 35,248 in 1961. And I think they have white chalky cliffs there on the edge by the sea. Someone correct me if I'm wrong... You're not wrong. They are the first part of England you see on return from France in that particular direction. From a distance they look like a series of white humps. Close up its just a helluva lot of chalk :) As far as I know there is nothing remotely like the cover of Amber in the UK. God knows what kind of rock this is, or where it is, but you'd be more likely to see that sort of thing on the American continents than in the UK. I have the Warp version, so things might be different but the sky on the cover is definitely blue and as for the cliffs... could they be part of the white cliffs of Dover? Oh no. The cliffs of dover are made of chalk. Probably somewhere in the US like Arizona or something. Not much limestone in the UK. BTW what does all of this have to do with how it sounds? I'm not decided yet. I had a listen and it did not grab me like the first one. Incabula or whatever it was took me by storm! I got some other things that day and I moved on to them (like Global Chillage, that's fantastic!). I saw a vinyl copy of Spanners last weekend. I liked the cover. Those Black Dog blokes love that Egyptian motif, don't they? -robert ______________________________________________*AudioElectronic*_____ "If BOTH the SAW and the PULSE switches are on, sonic explorers \ then both sawtooth and pulse waves are selected. \ This combination creates an extremely fat sound." After listening to Global Chillage a number of times, I can say that I'm not completely impressed. And man, we can lose those cheesey samples, "Pulsing.. pulsing.. waves..waves..waves..eternal..eternal.." what cheese, Global Communication's music is so much lovlier there is no need for those samples, the music does the talking.

_Spanners_ is awesome. Those Black Doggies are such nerds, I love em. I 'specially thought the 'dogfarts to ..' was really funny. --,__ (mRay) z943159@corn.cso.niu.edu

Being a caver and caving in limestone deposits i'd say that the cliffs on the Amber cover do not look like limestone, but I could be wrong. Anyhow's on a musical note my favourite track of the album is TearTear.

Actually not a damn thing... it's just nice packaging by DR. :) I haven't ever got around to listening or thus buying Innacubla (sp?), but it looks like i'm going to have to.
