I'm really amazed at the response from people just because I wrote that I bought TEEX 3 and the Portishead album. I thought that Portishead would not be strictly IDM because they are an outfit whose sound is not so definitely electronic as, for example, the Aphex Twin's sound is. From the sorts of posts that I have read on IDM, I would have thought that the general bias of the list was towards R&S, Rephlex types. Still, as i think someone pointed out the Portishead album is intelligently made music and you can dance to it. I personally think it's fantastic, having listened to it several times last night. I would be interested to know if anyone knows if Hard Hands have done a compilation of material on their label ? I have bought a couple of singles (Flammable and Dark Globe) but I'd like to hear more from this label without having to buy innumerable 12". Thanks. Tom
