the interviews i've read seem to suggest that Lifeforms was what they wanted
to do all along, but the dance music step was necessary to get them the
money/resources they needed to produce it.
yeah, it would be nice if they'd put out SOME dance music but they just
don't seem interested any longer.
anyway, i suggest that your slagging is counterproductive - as far as the
"world music, sweeping-filter-noises mindset" goes, i'd say they're the
best. if you don't like that style of music, do us all a favor and don't
comment on it.
