I got the one AD yesterday along with the 'Excursions in Ambience" third
dimension...
I must say they both suck and i never want to hear any of this music ever
again...
OOOOPS...that was my alter ego...
I really enjoyed the one ad...but the group i was most interested in was
"A Positive Life"...they have 2 mixes of the same song on the comp...i
played it on my show last night...
I just liked the feel of it...
And for $0.00 its a pretty good deal :)
The Third Dimension left a bit to be desired for me...but the overall cd
was good...i thought it was put together with a more commercial mindset,
though...it has more of the relatively well known artists in the genre on
it...
Aphex...FSOL...Seefeel...the "Big Names"...
The last one was more obscure so it left me with a feeling of "ha ha ha!
I have music that no one around here knows about :>" But the artists on
the 3D are sort of known in these here parts...plus the stuff is too
short...the average last time was about 9-11 mins..this time id guess
about 7 mins is average...thanks to FSOL's untypically short 3.4 min track...
I dont have the discs here with me or i would be more specific...
but i still feel like the 2nd orbit is the best of the series thus far...
