Volume 8 has an interesting article on R&S that starts on page 127 (in the middle of the Sun Electric article). I don't know when Volume 8 came out, but I'll quote two paragraphs here. "If Detroit is techno's spiritual birthplace, then Belguim has become its nominated nursery where its' being nurtured, developed, and looked over by the sign of the black horse, which has come to represent a guarantee of excellence under the moniker of R&S Records. ... "We're finalising the contracts for Derrick May," confides R&S supremo Renaat, barely able to contain the excitement in his voice. "This is something that has been negotiated for years, ever since he made his first record, I have longed to have Derrick on R&S. We're all very excited about it here. He's going to go into the studio in January to start working on an album of completely fresh material." The article goes on, and states something about a collaboration between Billy Ray Martin and The Grid. Anyone tell me more about this?
