Hey idm-list!
My band, HappinessIsHereToStay is playing this Friday in Brooklyn. Are we,
and those playing with us, ?idm?? I?d say so. We do experimental/melodic
beat/sound based fun experiments with guitars/casios/drumachines in a bit
more of an organic way, but honestly, shouldn?t that be a logical extension
of said genre?
More importantly than us, Lucky Dragons from Providence, RI are headlining.
They are absolutely an interesting point to all who follow ?idm.? Coming
from the home of LoadRecords/Lightning Bolt/PaperRad and all the ?new style?
American art of strange-brain-matter, they have somehow found a glitched
out, computer driven voice for this new style of performance/expression/art.

The last time I saw them they had audience members holding various wires,
crossing hands and layering, allowing new sound paths to cross different
bodies, triggering different sounds. Pretty amazing. Anyway, if you come
