Wrexsoul returns after a long absence with his follow-up to the
'Accelerating The Sun' EP and his debut Experimedia LP 'Alechemy
Sound'. Whereas his first EP focused heavily on Orb-like ambient
trance and crunchy rhythmic elements worthy of Dissolved, this
collection pushes Wrexsoul's sound in some new directions. This time
around, we hear a shift towards playful, 8-bit type sounds & more
pronouncedly glitchy beatwork (think Orange Dust). He has not,
however, abandoned his sense of lush greenery. This album packs in
about as much dense spacial textures as your likes to find this side
of a Brian Eno LP. A sense of subtlety is also on display, likened to
the minimalism piano compositions of Erik Satie. The point is: this
album covers MAD terrain with the greatest of ease and proficiency.
