I haven't heard these guys, but I've heard OF them plenty. No idea who else is inhabiting this hybrid musical space. There seems to be an array of review-type text around that essays comparison, but it's all along the lines of {X} Meets {Y} over at {Z's} place. For example: "Something of a Tool/King Crimson/Mogwai meets Roni Size set of heartwarming post-rock epics" "...it's The Orb meets Radiohead but taken a step further on up." "...Mogwai-rivalling post-rock stargazing augmented by clicks and blips straight out of Squarepusher's laptop" [all taken from <http://www.monotremerecords.com/65dos/65dos.html>] So it seems that 65daysofstatic are comparable to others, but noone is exactly comparable to them. alan --On 03 April 2006 14:48 -0400 cutups <cutup@andythepooh.com> wrote:
