Take a closer look at Salvation, particularly the flash demos. Salvation reminds me a lot of Plogue Bidule -- modular and capable without being overtly complex. http://www.harrisdigitalmedia.com That being said, Max/MSP/Jitter is not as complex and unapproachable as most people make it out to be.
