Check out this plasticman mix (the grime dj, not the plus8 one). Its got a fair number of twisted tracks in it. I'm digging it at least... (first mix) http://www.rootspeople.com/index.php?page=5 Werk is good. #2 actually I think would appeal most to idm heads. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alan Lockett" <Alan.R.Lockett@bristol.ac.uk> To: <therealmxyzptlk@comcast.net>; <idm@hyperreal.org> Sent: Thursday, July 21, 2005 11:49 AM Subject: [idm] Eurocrunked-up? (was Re: [idm] Werk and such) Never heard of any of it, Jeff, so I did some research. That research led me to Stacs of Stamina. Boomkat (2005) found it to be 'killer' (shock horror <gasp>). Now, this drew me in: "It's time to put your hands in the air, and wave them like you've just been discharged from care?". But 'Eurocrunked-up 8-bit hoptronica' had me gagging and looking for the exit. Is there someplace you might recommend a novice to take a peek inside this peculiar sub-chamber? Grim Dubs perhaps?
