maybe he liked both endings, and the single was a way to get the alternate version
out there. or maybe he (or warp) was just milking people. i tend to think the
former since i don't believe clark hit his stride until the EP. his first album was just
OK and i don't think a lot of people said much more than the usual aphex
comparisons, but the EP and 2nd CD established a sound of his own and i think
they're both worth owning.
but yes, the EP version of that song is better.
