This is the stupidest argument to come across the list yet. What? Are you
still in high school? Rebel without a clue? Corporations like Enron are one
thing but xlr8r? Warp? Caroline? How the hell else to people out side the
"geek circle" find out about this music? Are all idm acts suppose to be
"Indie" starving artists? The hell with that!!! I am stoked to see xlr8r,
URB, television ads and MTV (yes I said it) bringing idm and techno into
their mainstream scope. More power to them and more exposure to music that
matters. And people wonder why nobody knows this music. Good music was ment
to be heard and to be heard in this day and edge requires marketing and $$$.
People that understand this, like Funkstorung, aren't "selling out". Their
simply taking the next step toward a CAREER in music. You can't survive of
the "promotions" of Soulseek downloads, websites and email lists.
