sorry, i guess i misunderstood when he said the name came from
the 'artifical intelligence' comp. i thought it was something warp
said on the CD itself or a press release about it.

it still sort of is. i just heard "ambient house" used to describe the
orb as a genre placement, so it's still whatever it is, since IDM is
just a catch-all phrase for all kids of stuff including that.

same guy yes, but...kind of confusing actually since AFX did some
analogue stuff like polygon (not much though). but the most AFX
output sounds much harder than PW. anyway, whatever. it's good
stuff.
